Vineland Code Blue
Stuff a Backpack Drive 2022
What is Code Blue?
Code Blue is an initiative designed to protect our homeless citizens from frigid and hazardous winter weather conditions. Presently, Code Blue is offered in each major city and operates from November through April each year.
This will be the 10th season of Code Blue, helping over 800 individuals. Their #1 goal is to keep our homeless neighbors safe.
What is Stuff a Backpack?
It is an annual event designed to gather the necessary items to help bring comfort to Code Blue guests. Items obtained during this drive include basic necessities (hygiene products, etc.) Stuff a Backpack is an effort to procure these items and help make the cold winter months a little brighter for our less fortunate neighbors.
Why backpacks?
It is hard to have items stored securely for guests, as well as carrying bulky items long distances. While fairly small, backpacks allow guests the ability to carry what they need in a secure fashion.
How can you help?
Help us by Stuffing a Backpack! From August 1st through October 7th, backpack donations can be dropped off at our main office. All donations will be taken directly to Vineland Code Blue on October 10th.
