GAP Protection
If you're dealing with a car accident or theft where your vehicle is declared a total loss, or auto insurance may cover the replacement value. But if you were still making payments on that vehicle, you are still liable for any difference between the insurance settlement and the remaining loan balance. Bay Atlantic FCU offers GAP insurance to help cover that difference so you don't end up paying for a car you no longer have. Private Purchase Agreement
If you are attempting to finance a vehicle from a private seller, you must provide a copy of the title and complete a Private Purchase Agreement when applying for a BAFCU auto loan. A blank and printable version of the Private Purchase agreement form is available for your convenience.
